Cody Mitchell, CPA

Cody has over 20 years of experience in public accounting and business management. Prior to coming to Healdsburg, Cody worked with Dal Poggetto and Company in Santa Rosa (formerly Deloitte and Touche), Motto, Kryla Fisher in Napa and as a manager with Fireman’s Fund/Alliance. Cody has extensive experience in the wine and farming industries, real estate taxation and business and tax planning for high income individuals, mid-sized businesses and estate and trusts.

Over the past several years Cody has turned his attention to business management and consulting, specializing in families and individuals with closely held businesses that are seeking better results through reorganization of their accounting and administrative functions, and focusing on profitability through goal creation and planning, cash flow management and budgeting for success.

Robert M. Bernard, CPA, CMA

A licensed CPA since 1990, Bob has over 20 years experience in public and private accounting. Areas of expertise include real estate taxation and transactions, farming, wine industry, construction, and estate planning, Having obtained the Certified Management Accountant designation Bob does extensive consulting in all facets of business planning, budgeting and performance review.

In addition to being a partner with Brush Bernard Mitchell, CPAs, Bob is also President and founder of Acacia Exchange Services, Inc., a qualified intermediary serving the §1031 exchange needs of the North Bay area.

Kevin Hallinan, EA

Kevin has over 25 years in public accounting. He has knowledge of various accounting and wine industry software packages. As a Quickbooks Pro Advisor, Kevin has worked with several software packages that download into Quickbooks. Kevin has provided services to clients in a wide range of industries, including wine, retail, manufacturing, and wholesale. Prior experience includes being the tax manager for 16 years for a CPA firm located in Santa Rosa.
